The South African Electoral Commission IEC scheduled the National & provincial elections in South Africa to be held on 8th May 2019. The electorate of South Africa cast their vote to choose the representatives on behalf of them in National Assembly through national elections and they cast their vote to choose the Provincial Legislature representatives on behalf of them through Provincial elections. Both national elections and the provincial elections are different but the IEC of South Africa scheduled them on the same day. The eligible voters of Republic of South Africa are going to cast their national vote and provincial vote on the same day.

Electoral System of South Africa:

The South Africa Electoral system is a Parliamentary Election system. The voting system in South Africa is PR voting system. PR – Proportional representation, the electorate of South Africa cast their vote to the political parties rather voting the candidates. The National & Provincial elections are held based on the PR voting system.

National & Provincial Elections in South Africa:

The National elections are held once in 5 years to form the national assembly which is led by the President of South Africa and the provincial elections are like local elections these elections are held once in 5 years to form the provincial legislatures. The IEC of South Africa scheduled the General elections for both National Assembly and the Provincial Legislatures on 8th of this month. These National & Provincial elections are held by the PR voting system. The electorate cast their vote to the political parties, these political parties depending on their PR Voting percentage will get their share or seats in the Parliament. Depending on the percentage of votes polled and the total percentage of votes present in the South Africa, Political Parties decides the number of members.

2014 General Election Results:

The South African National Assembly constitutes 400 seats out of these 400 seats ANC African National party won 249 seats and formed the Government in the year 2014 whereas the Democratic Alliance party won 89 seats stood second place and the Economic freedom Fighters EEF party won 25 seats stood third place.

Legislative Assembly Election Results AP 2019:

The AP Elections for the Legislative Assembly has been successfully completed on Thursday 11th of this month (11/04/2019). The Assembly Elections in AP to form the second Legislative Assembly after the Bifurcation of the State in to Telangana and Andhra Pradesh States was scheduled to be held in a single phase for all the 175 Assembly Constituencies. Both the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections completed in a single phase on 11th April 2019. There are 25 Lok Sabha Constituencies in AP State. The Legislative Assembly Election Results AP will be declared on Thursday 23rd May 2019.

Odisha Vidhan Sabha Election Results 2019:

The Election Commission of India scheduled the General Elections for both Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha in Odisha to be held in four phases. The General Elections will be held in four phases for all the 21 Lok Sabha Constituencies and 147 Assembly Constituencies. Both the Lok Sabha and the Vidhan Sabha Elections first phase will be held on Thursday 11th of this month (11/04/2019). The second phase is on 18th April 2019 Thursday. Legislative Assembly Election Sikkim 2019:

The Legislative Assembly elections in Sikkim State have been successfully completed on Thursday 11th of this month (11/04/2019). The Lok Sabha Elections and the Vidhan Sabha Elections in Sikkim State are scheduled to be held in a single phase for all the 32 Assembly Constituencies and 1 Lok Sabha Constituency. Both the Lok Sabha and Assembly Elections completed in first phase on 11th April 2019. The Lok Sabha Election Results and the Legislative Assembly Election Results of Sikkim will be declared on Thursday 23rd May 2019.

The Election Commission of India has announced the General Elections schedule for the 17th Parliament. Along with the Lok Sabha Election schedule the ECI has announced the Election Results date. The Lok Sabha Elections 2019 results will be declared on Thursday 23rd May 2019. According to the schedule the elections are to be held in seven phases for all the 543 Lok Sabha Constituencies in 29 States and 7 Union Territories. The first Phase of Lok Sabha General Elections will be held on 11th April 2019 whereas the last Phase of General Elections will be held on 19th May 2019. The General Elections results will be announced on 23rd May 2019. There are 545 Lok Sabha MP seats in Indian Parliament out of these 545 Lok Sabha Constituencies 543 are elected by the Indian electorate and the remaining 2 Lok Sabha seats are nominated by the President of India.

Voting Process in Telangana:

The Chief Electoral Officer of Telangana State, for the first time using VVPAT machines for voting. The full form of VVPAT is Voter Verified Paper Audit Trail.  There are around 32,574 polling stations across the Telangana State. In all these polling stations the Telangana election commission arranged these VVPAT machines.

Before going to the polling station it is better to grab your voter id card, voter slip. If voter slip is not with you then you can get it at the polling station by showing your voter id card. If there is an address change or some changes in the voter, then, in that case, it is better to carry a valid identification proof other than the voter card.

Telangana Exit Polls:

By today evening we can get the exit polls in the Telangana State. As scheduled by the election commission of Telangana State the polling in all the 119 constituencies will be on 7th December.

Telangana Election opinion Polls:

As per the leading survey agencies, the Telangana election opinion polls are like the ruling party TRS is expected to win 70 seats, Congress could win 31, whereas TDP can get 2 seats, MIM- 8 seats and the BJP party is expected to win 3 seats. But after these opinion polls as the election campaign moves on there is a difference that can be clearly noticed during the last fifteen days. According to the leading surveys on 9th November the survey has been completely changed and the TRS is expected to win 42 seats whereas the Congress bags 64 seats and 13 seats for others.

Telangana Elections Polling Percentage:

The Telangana State election commissioner Dr Rajat Kumar said in an interview that there would be no election campaign before 48 hours of the election. i.e., the election campaign for the 2018 elections ends on 5th December at 04:00 PM.  He also added that they are expecting a good polling percentage in Telangana Assembly elections.
