- Dravida Munnetra Kazagham (DMK) is the new government to be formed in Tamil Nadu this Friday.
- DMK president M K Stalin’s Cabinet, including many other strong ministers like Duraimurugan shall be ministers for the first time. They will be worn as the state heads on Friday granting respectable portfolios to each of them.
- Governor Banwarilal Purohit has approved the recommendations made by Stalin regarding persons to be appointed as ministers and their portfolios.
- Mr. Stalin, who would assume office as Chief Minister for the first time, shall hold Home and other portfolios including public, general administration, all India services, district revenue officers, special programmed implementation and welfare of differently abled persons.
- Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi’s name doesn’t appear on the list but there would be atleast two women on the list.
