CG Election Results:
The Chhattisgarh Election Commission has released the Election schedule for the 2018 Legislative Assembly elections. The Chief Electoral Officer of Chhattisgarh State has scheduled the elections in the month of November 2018. The elections in Chhattisgarh State will be held in two phases. The polling for first phase election will be on 12th November and the second phase polling starts on 20th November 2018. Along with the election schedule, the CEO CG released the final voter list for the 2018 elections.

There are 90 Assembly Seats in Chhattisgarh State. To form the Government in Chhattisgarh one must get a minimum of 46 assembly seats to form the Government. From the last three elections, the competition is completely between the BJP and Indian National Congress. Before this 2018 elections for the last three times, BJP consecutively formed the Government in Chhattisgarh. In the Last election, BJP got 49 seats whereas INC got 39 seats and remaining 2 seats were gone to BSP and Independent candidate.
