The Tirupati Parliamentary constituency by-election is scheduled to be held on April 17^th 2021. The district collector & returning officer of Nellore announced the opening of filing nominations would commence on 23^rd March 2021 and candidates would be allowed to file their nominations for the by-elections till 30^th March 2021. The scrutiny process will be performed on the 31^st of March 2021.

The by-elections have been due since October of 2020 when the sitting MP from YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) – Balli Durgaprasad Rao passed away. The ruling party YSRCP has already announced physiotherapist Dr. M Guru Murthy as its candidate for the by-elections.YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy entrusted 7 of his cabinet ministers & assigned them to bring victory in each of the 7 assembly segments.

Telugu Desam Party national president N. Chandrababu Naidu was the first to declare the need for by-election in the pilgrimage city of Tirupati. TDP has named ex central minister Panabaka Lakshmi as their candidate for the by-elections. Pananbaka Lakshmi lost the 2019 elections to Balli Durgaprasad Rao by a huge vote margin of nearly 2.4 lakh votes.TDP has divided the constituency into 175 clusters & has tasked each of the clusters to a pair of senior leaders. TDP has formed a committee including party state president K Atchennaidu, former ministers & senior leaders to oversee the electioneering process.

BJP professed their intentions to become the ruling party in the state and would begin by winning the Tirupati parliamentary constituency by-elections as their first seat. BJP have tied up with Jana Sena to contest this election, after much deliberation the 2 parties have agreed have a BJP candidate in the mix for the by-elections as initially both parties wanted to field candidates in the elections.The BJP is considering 3 candidates to field for the by-elections but have not announced their decision on who will contest the election from their side yet.Retired Karnataka IAS Officer Rathna Prabha, retired IAS Officer Dasari Sreenivasulu & Ravela Kishore Babu are the 3 leading the race to get the ticket to contest the by-elections for BJP. Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2021 is approaching soon most probably to be held in the month of May this year transferring the registration to a new place even though an individual has been registered as a voter for a specific period by releasing new voter lists for the citizens of Tamil Nadu. This transfer is carried out as it is at times tough enough to check one’s name in the local voter’s list.
The chief electoral officer has disclosed the Tamil Nadu voter list at the official website of CEO (Chief Electoral Officer) Tamil Nadu: https://www.elections.tn.gov.in/. This Voter list has the name of the applicant who is eligible and listed to give a vote for the election held in the state of Tamil Nadu. Interested applicants for checking their names on the TN Voter List can follow through this link given above.
The current sitting Chief Electoral Officer of Tamilnadu is Thiru. Satyabrata Sahoo, IAS tenured from 15^th March, 2018.
In Tamil Nadu, the voting for 39 states was held on 18th April 2020 in the second phase.
The voter list published by TN CEO upon the official website along with an attached photo to so that those searching for their names can easily identify themselves irrespective of confusion son similar details, if any case.
People who want to search their name in the TN voter list can search by Name Epic Number District wise, Area wise or Assembly Constituency wise. Now citizens can download the PDF voter list along with the photograph. As the elections are very close, the department is updating its voter list on a regular basis to give the voter ID card so that people will be able to cast their votes in the upcoming elections.
The final electoral roll for the upcoming assembly election in the state of Tamil Nadu has been published by the election commission of India.
Around 6.26 crore voters are expected to be in the list this year following 3.18 crores as female voters whereas as 3.08 crore are male voters and 7200 as transgender voters in the line.
The electoral roll of the special summary was published by the election commission of India on 1st January 2021.
The highest number of voters numbering 6,94,845 were identified within the Shozhinganallur Assembly Constituency in Chengalpattu District whereas the lowest number was recognised from the Harbour Assembly Constituency in Chennai with 1,76,273 voters only.
The total number of electors 8,97,694 were belonging to the age group of 18 to 19 years who were listed in the electoral roll.

Upcoming elections list in India includes elections to the Rajya Sabha, elections to state legislative assembly, bye-elections to the Lok Sabha, bye-elections to state legislative assemblies.
The listed upcoming election list is based on the recently on-going elections up to the tenure wise state elections in the upcoming years from 2021-2025.

Sources say that after the obliteration of Sections 370 and 35A, the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections will be held in 2021. According to which there were a total of 111 seats in the assembly. After the formation of Ladakh’s separate union territory, it will reduce by four seats. That means 107 will be left in the J&K assembly.
Kerala will go to polls in May 2021 to elect 140 MLAs to the 15th Kerala Legislative Assembly. The battle will be fierce in Kerala for the CPI (M) as it will try to hold on to power, for the Congress as it will attempt to get its ‘turn’ after five years, and for the BJP which will strive to make inroads into the southern state.
The Tamil Nadu assembly election is slated to be held on May 2021 for the 234 seats of the Legislative Assembly in the state. This will be the first full-state legislative election without the popular J. Jayalalithaa and M. Karunanidhi. The 2021 election will be keenly contested between the arch rivals AIADMK and DMK.
The high-stakes West Bengal assembly elections are likely to be held in May 2021The Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has approved a tie up with the Congress for the upcoming polls. The move is being seen as a “tactical” move to gain some lost ground in a state which the Left ruled for an uninterrupted 34 years. It will be the first electoral contest between the two parties since this year’s Lok Sabha polls, which saw the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) emerging as the main opposition in the state, with 18 of the 42 seats in its kitty, just four less than that of the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC).

American Election 2020: Joe wins America with a majority!

Joseph R. Biden Jr. was elected the 46th president of the United States on Nov. 7. Mr. Biden defeated President Trump after winning Pennsylvania, which put his total of Electoral College votes above the 270 he needed to clinch the presidency. Biden won the election with 306 votes against 232 votes from Trump.

The certification of the results was officially announced by the states after the disputed ballots were reviewed and post-election audits were conducted for double-checking accuracy. Even the party official on either side confirmed about hardly any fraudulent activities while the 2020 presidential election was in progress.

The victory of the Democratic Party after the declaration marginalized 12,670 votes for Biden with a lead of 0.2% over Trump.

Since 1860’s, the United States has got two major ruling parties namely the Republic Party, and the Democratic Party. The Democratic Party has the greatest number of seats in the House of Representatives while the Republicans hold a majority in the United States Senate. Apart from these two primary political parties, the next three largest parties are the Libertarian Party, Green Party, and the Constitutional Party in a respective order. For the 2020 election, the Democratic Party achieved 80,117,578 votes, Republicans scored 73,923,495 in total, Libertarian with 1,856,340, and Green with 392,160.

The respective representatives to the above given parties were such as:

Jo Jorgensen for the Libertarian

NDA wins the Bihar Election Result 2020: A nail-biting finish

The winning party, National Democratic Alliance defeated the opposition with 125 seats in just 14 hours of voting. The opposition included the joint alliance between NDA, RJD (Rastriya Janata Dal), Congress, and other left parties was left behind with 110 seats in total. Despite the alliance, RJD emerged to be the single largest party to win 75 seats alone. The left parties scored 16 out of total 28 contested seats. NDA was led by Nitish Kumar whereas Tejaswi Yadav was the representative of RJD-alliance.

Impressive win of NDA over 74 seats defeated the critics who imagined the party to decline soon. But the year 2020 came out with a new image reflected over who even had the strongest seat holders. The victory still made a column for RJD for its good performance in growing itself and helping the minorities to also grow.

Certainly, Nitish Kumar is brought to you back for the fourth time as the Chief Minister of Bihar, continuing since the year, 2015. It is the same year when Nitish chose to join RJD-Congress alliance in 2015. But 2017, turned JDU into a weak foot after getting settled with BJP. The comparison was such that it won just 43 seats as compared to the 71 seats in 2017.

The Mahagathbandan constituents’ tallies were as follows: RJD (75), Congress (10), CPI (2), CPM (2), CPI M-L (12).

Election Commission website first declared the following election result after NDA crossed the half way mark of 122.

The Bihar election was conducted in a peaceful voting organised system without any re-polling. No such fraudulent activities were witnessed or probably conducted while the election process was in progress. Even the officials of both the parties agreed with the fair conduct of the entire event. The result victory was carefully managed appropriately tackling with the COVID-19 pandemic.

The election result was the victory of the development works in Bihar, underlining the deserving candidate and the party to win over the Bihar. The voters were unbiased with majority of poor and the Dalits from Bihar localities.

Sources reported that LJP chief Chirag Paswan, the son of Late MP and Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan, preferred not to continue supporting Nitish Kumar, as within the state, they are yet the oppositions. Instead the support from the party will always be towards PM Modi at the centre.

The other minor parties beside LJP were BSP and AIMIM. Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, the chief of AIMIM won 3 seats the election but has set significant inroads towards the Simanchal region with majority of Muslim voters. The AIMIM was alliance with Mayawati’s BSP bagging one seat as well.

There are 243 assembly constituencies or Vidhan Sabha seats in Bihar with 36.8% votes share comprised of BJP, 27.8% share of RJD, 25.3% of the JDU part, and the rest 10.1% is the share of INC. While the number of assembly constituencies are 243, the Loksabha Constituencies are 40 in number.

The major differences between the 2015 and the 2020 Bihar Assembly Constituencies Election result are as follows:

While there was no lead, BJP/NDA won 74 seats in the year, 2020 while 53 seats in the year, 2015.
In the year 2015, the victory was on the side of the Grand Alliance of JDU-RJD-Congress with 178 seats. The same year BJP won just 59 seats.
Although within this year 2020, RJD was the major most party with 75 seats, yet due to the grand-alliance margin, the victory was on the hands of NDA/BJP.

Following the event, Chirag Pawan’s LPJ is no longer considered to be in an alliance with NDA, within the assembly election. Meanwhile, Jitan Ram Manjhi of HAM, and Mukesh Sahni’s VIP is believed to be accommodated with the JDU and BJP’s quota while contesting the seats.
